For more than 20 years I have been entirely focused on Federal Criminal Defense including criminal tax evasion, wire fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, drug trafficking, bank robbery, unlawful export of arms, theft, arson, embezzlement, illegal possession of firearms, federal hunting offenses, interstate trafficking in stolen goods, postal crimes, immigration crimes, welfare fraud, medicare/healthcare fraud, and access device fraud. I also handle appeals and habeas corpus petitions relating to federal criminal prosecutions.

I have represented clients relative to investigations by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Criminal Investigative Division of the IRS (IRS CID), the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), the United States Postal Inspector (USPI), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), United States Department of Justice (USDOJ), Federal Trade Commission(FTC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Office of Inspector General (OIG), and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

I have represented individuals and businesses served federal grand jury subpoenas or otherwise participating in a Federal grand jury investigation.

I have assisted businesses and corporations conducting internal investigations of employee misconduct.

I have experience with professional licensing matters and have represented clients before the Oregon State Bar.

Assisted in representation of Senior Oregon State Trooper accused of 4 counts of sex abuse and official misconduct. After a week long trial in Marion County, the Jury found client not guilty of all counts in 15 minutes.

Law Office of Kenneth Lerner 1995-1996

Assisted in representation at jury trial of Amity, Oregon small business owner Richard Hill. Mr. Hill was charged with various fraud offenses and environmental crimes related to his efforts to recycle lithium batteries for the military. Mr. Hill was acquitted of all fraud charges.
